Global Keybindings

Key Action
Ctrl+Q Quit rTorrent cleanly (press twice for immediate exit)
Backspace Add torrent by path or magnet URL
Return Add torrent and start download immediately
Right Arrow Open details view for highlighted torrent
Left Arrow Return to previous view list

Controlling Torrents

Key Action
Ctrl+S Start downloading / seeding highlighted torrent
Ctrl+D Pause active torrent / Delete paused torrent from list
Ctrl+K Stop torrent and close files
Ctrl+R Force hash-check on downloaded files

View Switching

Press number keys 1 through 7 to switch active list filters:

  • 1: Main view (all torrents)
  • 2: Name view (alphabetical)
  • 3: Started / Active view
  • 4: Stopped / Paused view
  • 5: Complete / Seeding view
  • 6: Incomplete / Downloading view
  • 7: Hashing view
